We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress-based subscription video platform with secure access control, Vimeo integration, and scalable content management — built from the ground up for the indie filmmaking community.
Our solution focused on:
- Implementing membership validation to restrict video vault access to active subscribers only
- Integrating Vimeo-hosted videos via embed URLs stored in custom fields, eliminating bandwidth strain
- Building a dedicated Custom Post Type (CPT) for Videos with structured metadata and category taxonomy
- Creating category-based video grouping for intuitive user navigation and scalable content management
- Delivering a fully responsive grid layout maintaining 16:9 aspect ratio across all devices
