Ooty Gymkhana Club, with its 150+ year history and legacy in Indian golf, chose to reinvent its digital brand to match its physical exclusivity and prestige. The club aspired to set a new digital benchmark among golf clubs, attracting discerning members and premium sponsors while also providing a vibrant, interactive hub for community, events, and course information.

Problem Statement

The legacy website underrepresented OGC’s pedigree, with outdated navigation, static content, and no unified platform for member activity or sponsor engagement.

Members struggled to coordinate games or communicate, while the club’s unique setting and facilities—especially the iconic 18-hole course—lacked a compelling digital showcase. Sponsors sought more sophisticated branding, and younger members wanted a reason to stay connected year-round.

Solution

A visually stunning, interactive web platform was developed, featuring a Blender- and Spline-powered 3D field experience where users could explore each of the 18 golf holes and access detailed pole information.

The site introduced community forums, event scheduling, learning courses, sponsors, and responsive design, celebrating history while embracing digital-first luxury. This new presence unified club news, events, and member touchpoints for a world-class online club experience.
